About Michael Vance

I grew up in Southern California and I know it like the back of my hand—from the excitement of a Dodgers or Lakers game to the serenity of the beach and to the magic of concerts under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl and the Greek Theatre. My deep roots in this community, combined with a long career in education as a dean of students, a school counselor, and as an admissions evaluator for UC Berkeley, have shaped my passion for helping others navigate life’s biggest decisions.

Real estate has been a personal journey for me—I’ve bought and sold homes across three different counties while raising our three kids. We’ve been further blessed with two granddaughters. My family is truly at the core of everything I do and I know, for most of us, buying a house is much more than a business decision.

We bought our latest home in the community of Burbank Hills right at the start of the pandemic shutdowns. Things were challenging then, and they are challenging now. My experiences have cemented in me, the desire to help others through this process.
